ABOUT THE PAINTING

MariOse’s painting, “All Those Wonders” were a gift to one of her closest friends. Mari wanted to honor her work. The title; “All Those Wonders” is her friend’s chosen title to her own book of poems. Mari decided to make her a painting with the image she had gotten of her friend’s work. The color red represents fearlessness. The woman represents her friends mysterious and beautiful image. The strong lines of black and white is a flow of direction and decisiveness. And the roses; the beauty of her work and traditional angles as well as experimental. For Mari this painting is to tribute her friend and celebrate her creativity.
